Suttle Spring Tutorial -100% Monsoon/ Accessorize

Oh my Gah D:

Monsoon/ Accessorize are my all-time favourite, favourite, favourite stores EVER! They beat all those silly stores any day. I think, no, for sure. So, I put an outfit only from Monsoon/ Accessorize together. May I add a complete outfit. That includes the Bag, jewelry and Shoes. So, let's get started.

Starting off with a Sadie Ivory Vest from Monsoon for £16.

This beauty here, known as Laura Skirt for £50.00 is the main item. We want eyes to focus on this floral Skirt, tha's why I've teamed it with an ivory shirt (if you haven't noticed, the shirt matched the cute flowers on the skirt.)

On top of the Ivory Shirt, a cute  Shrug like this one:

Known as Sassa Shrug for £40.00 will pretty much finish the outfit off with that Springy feel. If you want to go out bare-footed of course. [All above items from Monsoon.]

Shoes, Shoes, Shoes. I'll be honest here... The pair I'm about to show you was the closest thing to put with this outfit, therefore... It isn't the best. BUT! It's still cute:

Ruffle T-Bar Ballerina Shoes from Accessorize for £25. Matches the shrug though, right?

JEWELRY! *Cheesy Smile*

Like I said, with the Skirt being the main attraction, we have to calm down with the jewelry. Pretty hard for an accessory Lover like me. But alas, look what I've found. This Almalfi Romance Charm Long Rope Necklace goes very well with the outfit. The Shirt being kind of low neck gives the necklace enough space to sit on your neck look gorge. This costs £12.

*Drools* Don't want to go all out on the ring so I just found this cute one that I happen to own as well for £7.

Last but not least. Bags. Okay, another confession. I can't do plain bags. I can't. All the bags I own are busy with patterns and flowers, so please forgive me for picking out this bag:

A Curved Pocket Beige Tote for £32 from Accessorize. I thought it matched the Skirt. *shrugs*

Audrey Hepburn -LBD

This Brussels-born beauty is one of the biggest style icons of our time. Perhaps it was the elegance and wit she possessed, or that little black dress and white gloves in "Breakfast at Tiffany's" she made every women want to have, or quite possibly a combination of both.

She wore comfy, Capri Pants in films such as "Sabrina" and "Funny Face"  that has probably made an impact on Women of today, to be a staple in their wardrobes.

Ballet flats. Who doesn't own a pair? This liddol' Lady  adored them. And wore them with practically everything. Dresses, pants.. You name it.

I'm going to give you a mini outfit tutorial on an Audrey Hepburn inspired Look. You'll soon find that being Chic is as simple as ever. And easy to look oh-so Audrey.

May I also add, the dear Sophie, aka vianneX3, suggested this tutorial. So if you want me to make a tut' on any style possible to do, let me know :D

Little Black Dress:

I've found this cute Apron Shift Dress at New Look for a good £22.99.

However, I wouldn't wear it with tights, as Audrey liked to show off her gorgeous, tall physique.

If you wanted to go for an all out Hepburn Look, I'd accessorize it with long, white gloves, and gorgeous pearls. And heels. Durr :P

I chose this dress specifically, because, if you've Googled her or watched "Breakfast at Tiffany's", you'd see that this dress is similar to what she wore, am I wrong?

Damn Stardoll...

I'm sure you've all seen these new "updates" with the beauty parlor.. si? Well, in my opinion, they suck. And should die. The reason for this is because whenever I get the sudden urge to redesign my dolly, I have to wait... I don't know, 10 minutes for it to load? This is ridiculous, and also, whenever I want to place a certain item in a certain place, it just flings away to another part of my jewellery box and hides for the rest of it's virtual days. DAMN STARDOLL >:(

Vintage Chic Outfit -Yay for Topshop!

G'Mornin' Lovies. I thought I'd come up with a Vintage Chic' Outfit for you guys to try out yourselves at home!

Starting off with this Wine Cropped Back Layered Front Waistcoat from Topshop for £35.00. I Love the colour of this waistcoat. It sort of gives it the vintage look.

Under the waiscoat as a top, this Muscle Back Cahsmere Mixed Vest By Boutique works best. I thought that with this oversized shirt, you can tuck 1/4 of the bottom of the shirt into the shorts. This cost £20.00. Under the top, maybe wear a fitted black,long sleeved tee.

Then, underneath this fab waistcoat for bottoms, I've picked out Topshop's Pintuck Shorts By Boutique. It looks high wasted in my opinion, but it's not. The shorts cost £60.00. Under the shorts, Black Opaque Tights or maybe Black ankle-length Leggings will look hot!



For Accessories. My favourite part :D
-On the shorts, wear a skinny tanned leather belt.
-As a necklace, a gold locket will look cute, as well as chic and vintage.
-A gold ring never did anyone harm.

For shoes, I'd go with Brogues. Like these pair at the bottom.
I chose Tanned Brogues so it could match the belt. These shoes finish the look off with a chic, Vintage look. That's why shoes are so important people.
They cost £30.00

Well, I hope you liked the outfit I came up with. If you don't have a waistcoat by the way, you could always wear a blazer!

Also, have you seen the revamped features in the MeDoll Editors? Like the Make-up stand and the Jewellery stand. Not only has that changed, but if you go to the Starplaza, the dressing room is different too. You have to 'Drop' your item into the basket?! I think that's.. Odd. And time consuming actually. When before, all you had to do is try the item on and click on 'Buy' and you're done. Silly.

Dolls.

I'm sure that most of you can say that you've played around with a doll at least once in your life, right? You know, dressed them, brushed their hair.. etc. I can say with all my heart that I love dolls. I love everything about them. Whenever I see an old, musty, ragged Barbie, I don't see a piece of junk, I see a blank canvas, waiting to be painted.

As a child, I would say that I was rather spoilt. Whenever my Mum used to bring me to the shopping centre, the first place we'd go was the little toy shop upstairs. I was always filled with excitement the moment I came up the escalator and saw the logo of the toy shop peeping out the top. And once I got there, the first place I would go, was the dolls section...

Now that I'm too old to play with dolls willy nilly, I now make my own clothes for them, and dye their hair and such.

At the moment, I collect and make clothes for these dolls from the 70's named 'Blythe Dolls'
Their gorgeous, and super cute too!

Modern Interior -Oh How I Love Them.

'Kay, so I have a massive eye for Decor and Interior Design. I Love Love Love Decor. Like Love it. A lot. I Love it so much, that I've even drew what my future house will look like. No Joke. In fact, when I have the time, I'll take a picture of them and post it, no harm in sharing my weirdness.
Why do I Love Modern Decor so much? Well, here's a question to you first. How can this picture not make you Love Decor so much? And develop a huge interest in it? And make you major in Architecture in September 2011?
So, I wanted to show you a few pictures of Modern Interiors (my favourite) with you.

I suppose I just Love how spacious and.. Unusual Modern Decor is. I mean, who do you know in person that owns a house like this?! 

I Like things to have originality, creativity and to be unique. Something nobody has got (which may be impossible, but who knows? They do say nothing is impossible.. Right?).

About This Blog -In Detail, Baby.

Okay, so as most of you have probably noticed, this isn't your ordinary StarBlog.
We don't ONLY talk about Stardoll (although our main audience are the people who go on it) but we talk about everything and anything that interests us, or whatever just comes to mind.

We could talk about Books, Animes (as Chihiro aka cianboland has done) Make-up, Art, Music. When I say everything, I mean EVERYTHING. I hope anyway.

Most blogs I have come across talk about one thing specifically. And that's always Fashion, or Stardoll. Which is cool I suppose. But to have ANOTHER blog re-writing what other blogs say in our own words and posting it again? Noway Jose, not for me. Don't get me wrong, I Love a lot of those blogs. Such as thepassionmagazine.blogspot.com,  stardoll-rehab-center.blogspot.com and SO much more. But they're all related in a way. I guess mine is too, but I don't want this blog to focus on just ONE thing. Because everyone has different tastes and not everyone will enjoy reading about that ONE thing, you know?

If you've read this far, I highly appreciate and I give you a virtual hug!
But I just want you all to know what you might expect in this blog, because some posts will be pretty random.. But definitely fun and awesome to read!

Yummy Mug!

'Kay, so yesterday I went Grocery Shopping (like every other Tuesday) but I went somewhere else than where I usually shop (Which is Waitrose). I went to ASDA. In the States, I think ASDA is the same as Wal-Mart. Anyway, I went there, and I found this cute mug for ONLY £1.25. That is darn cheap.

With me, I have a Morning Mug and an Evening mug... But I don't have an Afternoon mug. I mean, My Monring Mug says "Mornin' Gorgeous" on it, so I can't drink my afternoon tea or hot chocolate in that. And my Evening Mug is... Well, for the Evening. And anyway, I HAD to buy it. So there's the picture!

I know, this post is random... And the whole Morning, Afternoon, Evening Mug is... A weird thing, but that's just me!! Enjoy

Umineko Reaches Stardoll

One of my favourite animes of all time is Umineko no Naku Koro Ni. Not only are the costumes beautifully designed and drawn, but the story is extremely intense and complex. I have been hooked on it, and now I've started to read the visual novels! Umienko is such an amazing anime and I strongly suggent you check it out. I must admit though, the first episode didn't really catch me, but trust me, it gets a gazillion times better!

I've put together some outfits on Stardoll that look somewhat like the ones in Umineko!
